I’ve posted an update to the The Dell EMC VMAX And PowerMax Content Pack For VMware vRealize Log Insight which you can find on the VMware Marketplace. You can also install it directly from your implementation as below:
The new version only has a couple changes. The first is a renaming of “VVol” references to “vVol” per VMware’s recent change. The second is a new widget in the Problems dashboard named Call home issues.
The widget will look for event 1074 and will inform you when the array has an issue contacting Dell EMC, which as the dashboard name indicates, is a real problem.
The new pack works perfectly well with the latest Log Insight release 8.1 if you are looking to upgrade. The user guide is linked within the content pack description, or you can find it under the Documentation Library.
