I need PowerMax 2000/8000 Administration Guides.. if you share that would be great as we are getting PowerMax 2000 to migrate data from VMAX 20K.

We don’t have an Admin Guide per se, but here are a few that should be useful. If you can’t find the topic you want in these, let me know what you need and I can get something more specific based on your requirements.

I need administrations Guide for daily operation like, THIN device provision, storage Group, cascade initiator group, initiator group, port group, masking view, timefinder clone, snapVX, SRDF, snapshot etc…
Well, those operations are either going to happen in Unisphere, or CLI. I am unable to find any host best practices (disk timeout, lun and hba qdepth, etc) for vmware and SRDF metro on Powermax. Have you any thoughts on that?

These are all published in the best practices book on the Documentation Library page starting on page 46. There is no distinction when using SRDF/Metro.
Hi Drew, any idea when SRDF SRA Adapter 9.2.0 will support VM SRM 8.3.1? I saw the latest chart in the SRDF SRA with VMware SRM ver. 9.2 Guide but it only has SRM 8.3 as of right now. Regards, Gary
We don’t re-certify for patch releases of SRM until the next SRA, however there is no issue using them.
